The instructional video clips available on this page show some aspects of the BHR hip surgery procedure.

Be aware that video-clips in red contain bloody images.

Also shown, the results of a BHR prosthesis, and the activities of patients that had surgery.

The videos are app. 1 to 2 minutes in length, and are available as streaming media at 128-144 kbps, or as downloadable image (avg. size 0.5 to 2.5 MB).

Some case studies do not have video-clips, only slide-shows.

  • Female patient, 58 years with osteoartrosis at the right hip. Walking around with a BHR 5 days post operation.
  • Male patient, 44 years with osteoartrosis at his right hip. Playing tennis at 6 weeks P.O.
  • Female patient, 16 years, who broke the femoral head at 14 year. Fixed with three screws, and after removal these screws after 1 year development of aseptic necrosis. The patient was planned with another institute to have an arthodesis (fixation) of the hip. However, after receiving a BHR at our clinic, she is now horse riding and jumping at 3 month P.O.
